A breathable beginning, born from love.
There's something magical about nature — the way the moon softly illuminates the night, the way clouds drift effortlessly across the sky. These elements have always inspired me, shaping not just the name of my baby girl, Amar (which means moon in Arabic), but also the vision behind Nimbus Baby.
A Mother's Realisation
Becoming a mother changed everything. Like many parents, I quickly realised that not all baby clothing is created equal. Some fabrics — like polyester — trap heat and can make little ones uncomfortable. As a synthetic, plastic-based fibre, polyester has been linked to hormone disruption, skin irritation, and allergies.
"If we wouldn't wear it ourselves, why would we dress our babies in it?"
And then there were the buttons. Endless buttons — an absolute nightmare for wriggly babies (trust me, Amar has been on the move since day one!). Through my own experience and conversations with parents in my community, I realised there was a real gap in the market for baby clothes that were breathable, functional, and thoughtfully designed. That's where Nimbus Baby was born.
What Makes Us Different
Our rompers are crafted from 100% French Terry Cotton — soft, breathable, and gentle on delicate skin. No itchy, heat-trapping polyester blends. Instead of fiddly buttons, our designs feature seamless hidden zippers for effortless, quick changes without compromising on style.
We're committed to clothing that's as kind to the planet as it is to your baby. Our fabrics are free from harmful chemicals, because your little one's comfort and safety always come first.
More Than a Brand
Nimbus Baby is more than a clothing label — it's a community for parents who care deeply about what goes on their babies' skin. We're starting with minimal, airy colours that reflect the essence of our brand, with sizes 000–2, and plans to grow into kids' sizes as we do.
